Backflow testing:
1. An Owners backflow devices/assemblies must be: Visible, Accessible, in good operable condition, and have proper service clearance for testing to be possible. 2. PureWater SC is providing a testing service to existing equipment to determine the proper function within manufacturer specifications. PureWater SC assumes no liability for existing equipment improperly selected or installed. 3. All tests are performed in compliance with SCDHEC procedures. A failed test will be reported to the Water Authority and the property Owner with recommended repair. 4. Owner must provide a maintenance contact to coordinate access as needed. 5. It is understood that part of the normal testing procedure is temporary interruption of water service to the facility. 6. Water service must be on. PureWater SC cannot operate meter valves. 7. All facility valves will be left in the position they are found in (on or off) unless otherwise directed by Owner. 8. Each Party shall indemnify, defend and hold the other party harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liens, liabilities, penalties, fines, law suits and other proceedings and costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees, for bodily injury to persons or damage to property caused by or resulting from the direct action of the other party. It is expressly agreed that the limitation of liability for damages is equal to the final price of services performed. 9. Payment may be made via Cash, Check made payable to “PureWater SC” or card upon request, Payment is due upon receipt.
Water Quality Testing:
Site evaluation includes, cross connection survey, and onsite reading of the following: (PH), (EC), (TDS), & temperature. Water testing for organics require lab evaluation and can be provided for an additional fee.
